10th Annual Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, which will run
April 25th- May 4th 2008
Subject Matter: Documentary
Plot: My partner and I live in the Central Florida area, and we are working on filming a documentary for the Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. This documentary will be a groundbreaking look at domestic violence in the GLBTQ community, and we are asking that anyone who has experienced or is currently experiencing domestic violence in their relationships to courageously come forward and share their story. We realize what a difficult subject this is to delve into, but also how real and important the issue is today. If you are over the age of 18, have a personal story to share, and are willing to be filmed on camera and viewed by the public, please contact us! Anyone currently majoring in or working in the psychology/human services field who has important insight on the subject through their studies is also encouraged to participate. If you would like to be on camera you must live in Florida for the 1st wave of shooting.
YOU DO NOT Have to donate to the film to be on camera people on camera will not be paid for thier time and we require nothing in return for you to come foward and share your story!!!!
