Featured are stamps #194 & 195, postmarked on the First Day of Issue 5 April 1982. These feature Native Birds found in this East African nation. The 1 Shilling stamp pictures the Secretary Bird. It is the sole surviving member of the Sagittariidae family of birds and is only found in Africa. The Kori (or Giant) Bustard, is depicted on the 5 Shilling stamp. This cover is mounted on a page which gives detailed information about this cover, issued by the Postal Commemorative Society from their First Day Covers From Around The World collection. This is in Mint condition.
